Joker: Folie à Deux

The crime drama and thriller «Joker: Folie à Deux» is a direct sequel to the 2019 film The Joker. At the box office, the film collected more than a billion dollars with a budget of about $60 million. Although the first film did not foresee a sequel, in the end all participants in the process agreed that it was appropriate to work on the second part. Joaquin Phoenix and Zazie Beetz returned to their roles. Scott Silver and Todd Phillips once again wrote the screenplay, with Phillips directing. The new "Joker" is expected to feature about 15 songs, most of which are covers of famous compositions, and there are also a few specially written works. Icelandic composer Hildur Guðnadóttir, who won an Oscar for the music for the first film, worked on the music.
